I have loved nature since the day I was born. From a spider to a cockroach, the only thing that wasn’t treated to my care were mosquitos. The only other creature that causes more death to humans is humans themselves. I digress.
I first got into ant keeping when I was nine. I have been keeping them on and off for about four years now. I have had many species in this time, gaining invaluable experience and knowledge that would have taken years to gain in a school set environment.
Some of the species I have kept include Camponotus (Black Carpenter Ant, Sugar Ant), Solenopsis (Multiple Species of Fire Ants), Myrmica (Harvester Ant), Anoplolepis (Yellow Crazy Ant), and Tetramorium (Pavement Ant).
